CAROLYN R. BROCK

Carolyn R. Brock graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in December of 1994 where she was on the National Deans List from 1991 – 1993, and a member of the San Diego Justice Journal law review writing staff from 1992 – 1993.

Ms. Brock was certified as a legal specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization on June 1, 2004.

Veenstra, Esq.

PUBLIC SPEAKING AND LECTURE

Ms. Brock has lectured on Estate Planning and probate for professional and public groups. In particular, National Business Institute for Continuing Legal Education for Professionals between 2007 and 2009, lectured on Probate Basics; Advanced Probate Issues; Estate Planning Basics, Drafting Wills & Trusts; and Asset Protection in Every Day Planning.

Ms. Brock has been teaching a paralegal class on Estate Planning and Administration through the University of California Extension Paralegal program offered as an elective each Spring which she has enjoyed since the Spring of 2011.

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS AND MEMBERSHIPS

Ms. Brock is a member of the California Bar Association and Foothills Bar Association of San Diego County. Ms. Brock was a member of the Board of Directors of the Foothills Bar Association from 2006 until 2016, where she served as the 2012 President of the Board.

Additionally, Ms. Brock was appointed by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego to the San Diego County Law Library Board of Trustees, where she served from 2006 until 2014. Ms. Brock was the 2013 and 2014 Vice-President of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee.
